Arcam P1000 Power Amplifier
The Arcam P1000 Multi-Channel Power Amplifier is now on display/demonstration and waking the neighbours in our Lancashire demo room. We use the P1000 on a daily basis (along with its soul mate-the AVP700 Preamp Processor), and it has never let us down. It delivers extremely detailed, crisp clear sound at any volume. Turn the volume dial down and listen to your favourite ‘chill out’ songs with a sense of relaxation and peace, or crank it up during your favourite action movie and prepare for uncompromising power.
The Arcam P1000 has input and output phono sockets for the signal being fed to each channel, which allows the signal to be passed on to additional power amplifiers, if required, to drive loudspeakers in other rooms or to bi-amplify any channels. If the P1000 is being used to drive a five- channel surround sound system, for example, then the spare two modules ('L surround rear' and 'R surround rear') could be used in conjunction with the main ('L front' and 'R front') modules to bi-amplify suitable front left and right speakers.
As always, Arcam have built the P1000 to the highest of standards, continuing their tradition of using only the finest components and materials to create unbelievable products. The Arcam P1000 offers up to 135W per channel meaning the P1000 has more than enough power to shake the floor. Available in either black or silver, the P1000 is a great looking amp and will fit into many interiors.
