No, it’s not a spelling mistake; the rDock is the new iPod docking station from Arcam. The rDock will simultaneously play the songs from your iPod via any compatible device, and also charge the iPod. We had an exclusive listen to the rDock through the Arcam Solo Movie, and we have to say that we are truly astonished. We have not heard many mp3 player docks perform like the rDock does. Even at higher volumes, detail remains intact and the actual quality of sound is very pleasing. Arcam claim that they have the best iPod docking station on the market; a bold claim but then again, the rDock is very, very good.

Connectivity, on the rDock, to any compatible device is simple, just plug a pair of phono leads to the back of your amplifier and enjoy. If you have an Arcam Solo, Solo Mini or a Solo Movie, you can run an RS232 lead (supplied) to the back and control the iPod using the Solo's remote control.
