Arcam DV135 Up Scaling DVD Player The new DV135 from Arcam is set to cause a stir in the DVD market place, with its 1080p up scaling; it is a vast improvement on the Arcam DV79.  The 135 will play many DVD formats as well as SACD.  DVD images, standard definition or up scaled, appear to be sharper and colours more natural, whilst motion is smoother.  The DV79 continues follows up on Arcam’s idea of quality over quantity.  There are no un-necessary features, just a simple easy to use DVD player that will create stunning images.  Sound is another strong point of the DV135.  When connected to an appropriate amp such as the Arcam AVR250, the DV135 will deliver clear, crisp and precise sound.  It will also handle 2-channel audio better than most similarly priced DVD players.  Arcam have built a reputation over the years for creating products that perform well on multi channel audio as well as 2-channel stereo, so music will never have sounded so good from a DVD player.
