Of course, the DV139 has up-scaling abilities to 720p, 1080i and 1080p resolutions via the HDMI interface. The ABT102D de-interlacer and ABT1010 scaling engine from Anchor Bay Technology ensures clean, clear and beautifully detailed images, no matter what the resolutions of the display device. Dolby digital, Pro Logic II and DTS 5.1 are not a problem for the 139. The on board video setup ‘wizard’ make the DV139 very user friendly.
