The InFocus 'Play Big' IN83 DLP projector incorprates Texas Instruments' DC4 (DarkChip4) processing chip, allowing for a cinema experience like never before. The DC4 chip has previously only been seen in ultra high-end projectors, sometimes costing around the £20k mark, but by including it in the InFocus IN83, you can now have superb image results at a realistic price. One big improvement in the DC4 chip is a higher contrast ratio allowing for the inevitable deep black levels which add to the cinematic experience. The InFocus IN83 has a contrast ratio of 15,000:1. InFocus projectors, including the IN83 are typically very rich and colourful. This coupled with the Full-HD resolution-1920x1080p (with 24 frames per second compatability) and the cracking contrast, the IN83 is set to be a cracker.
