With the advent of HD-DVD and Blu-ray Disc, new high definition Audio signals, the Marantz SR-8002 is perfectly adept for the HD era. The presence of your home DVD collection will be given a new lease of life. Of course, AV receives not only have to decode audio formats, they also have to decode the visual side too. With a 1080p upscaler and deep colour's sophisticated processing system on each of the HDMI ouputs the SR8002 makes light work of this delivering a perfect DVD moive picture every time.
