Magazine. Just like the CRH255, the DRH300DAB has everything ready at the touch of a button. This little gem is available in satin black or silver, both offering a stylish look. Connectivity from the DRH300DAB is pretty vesratile, supporting HDMI, S-Video, composite video, and scart plus an array of outputs including subwoofer out to offer you that extra low down grunt which only a subwoofer can muster.

Sound from this little, but fully capable unit has other similar products shying away with it's full-on performance. We tried the DRH300DAB with a pair of Monitor Audio Radius 270 lifestyle speakers and used the accompanying Radius 360 subwoofer using both hi and low inputs for a truer feel and were impresed with the kick it gave when listening to Moby's Porcelain, the detail through the DRH300DAB really shows why Teac have added this product to the established Reference range. The piano and low down bass never distorts and just offers a full sound that you only thought possiable from a larger system.

We also tried the HDMI performace through the Themescene HD70 DLP Projector and it was refeshing to see that you can now purcahse a real alternate to a separate DVD player. The Teac DRH300DAB offers a realistic image through the Themescene HD70 making us feel that the Teac DRH300DAB is a worthy candidate to the Teac Reference range.
