The Kef C3 bookshelf speakers use technology found in Kef's higher end ranges to create a complex, detailed and thoroughly enjoyable listening experience, with a sound that seems much larger than the C3's actual size. The Kef C3 bookshelf speakers natural sound makes them ideal for both music and movies alike and the slightly larger cabinet and driver size over the C1's make them ideal for small to mid sized listening rooms.

An incredibly accurate 19mm tweeter with Kef's own 'tangerine' waveguide tweeter cover, (also used on the Kef Q series), is used in the C3 speakers. The tweeter cover helps to smoothen out and evenly disperse the HF allowing for a more enjoyable listening experience, whilst also protecting the tweeter driver from harm. The Kef C3 bookshelf speakers also use a slot-ported 130mm midrange/bass cone along side the tweeter found in Kef's Q series, to produce a complex, realistic and exciting soundstage with a little more added grunt than their siblings, the C1 speakers.
