The Kef IQ70 floorstanding speakers include Kef's 'tangerine' waveguide tweeter cover, made famous by the Kef KHT3005SE system, to help smoothen and disperse high frequencies thus allowing for a wider, more realistic sound stage whilst also rather conveniently protecting the IQ70 tweeter driver from harm. With rigorously engineered magnet systems and titanium-coated cones, the crucial midrange combines delicacy and assertiveness in equal measure. Dual composite bass cones are driven by ultra-low distortion motors incorporating Faraday rings to iron out harmonic distortion and deliver incredible extended bass.
