KEF's infamous KHT3005 speakers have just got even better! The 5-star review in the 'first test' section of What HiFi? Magazine speaks volumes to say the least, with the respected magazine quoting "Check for the new-style tweeters before you buy. Should you buy? Oh yes!", and "It remains cohesive and refined, now with all the attitude you'll ever need". They were even confident enough in the 3005SE's new abilities that they hailed them as "Sensational".

Aesthetically, the KEF KHT3005SE's are almost identical to the original 3005's, apart from the new tweeter cover, which not only helps prevent the tweeter driver from being damaged but ,and it's the most important job, smoothens the top end frequencies allowing for a more enjoyable listening experience.

Available in a silver or ultra stylish gloss black finish, the KEF KHT3005SE speakers are better than ever when it comes to music. The HTB2 subwoofer now has a music mode to allow you to make the most out of stereo. The new design allows for improved rythm and timing-the 3005SE's are able to handle more complicated music a lot easier than the originals.

All together, the 3005SE's are a great one-system solution. Movies have always sounded great on the 3005's, and now with modified crossoves on the 3005SE's, you can expect an overall and more realistic entertaining sound from the Special Editions. Tech spec wise, the KHT3005SE's run at 8 ohms, nice and easy to drive, and can handle up to 100w which is perfect for small to mid sized living rooms etc.
