The Mitsubishi HC4000 DLP Projector is one of the most anticipated home cinema DLP projectors of the year. With the inclusion of the Texas Instruments DC3 Processor, the Mitsubishi HC4000 has taken the batten of it's predecessor and become an all-concurring home cinema projector.

The HC3800 sets new standard for budget home cinema projection. The Mitsubishi HC4000 boasts many features, including the latest 0.65 DLP DarkChip 3 and a DDP3021 full 10-bit panel driver. The results are spectacular. At this price, Mitsubishi have managed to pull more out of the HC4000 projector than we could have ever imagined.

By using the latest DLP (Digital Light Processing) Chipset, with the new DMD engine (Digital Micromirror Device) in the HC3800, Mitsubishi have achieved a greater level of control with the aperture ratio. In addition, by reducing the cavity diameter, the gap between the mirrors is now narrower.

The HC4000 also gives a much sharper picture than the standard DMD engine; a trait that can be seen when viewed against similarly priced DLP projectors. Unreal levels of sharpness and detail can now be achieved, something we have in the past only associated with much more expensive projectors.

The bottom line is that Mitsubishi have created a real winner with the HC4000 DLP projector and a worthy successor to the Mitsubishi HC3800.
