The DMREX83 has a built in Freeview+ tuner which allows you to not only record, but pause and rewind live TV at the touch of a button. No longer will a ringing doorbell or quick telephone call mean missing your favourite programmes, not when you have the DMREX83 DVD/HDD Recorder. With multiple choices for recording, the DMREX83 recorder gives you the choise of either recording onto a DVD or onto the 250gb built in hard drive. The DMR-EX83 can playback all DVD and video content from the hard disc drive in upscaled 1080p through the HDMI output. The new Chroma Processor on the DMREX83, helps this DVD Recorder deliver the cleanest, most detailed, most accurate images with immense clarity and vivid colours.

Another feature of the DMR-EX83 is it's ability to playback music from CD's and USB devices, Music is easily transferred onto the DMREX83's 250GB hard drive by using the Jukebox feature, and with it's access to the Gracenote database, you can pop in a CD and let the EX83 automatically insert album, artist and track info, then play it back at any time. The SD card slot located on the DMREX83, lets you view JPEG images in wonderful 1080p or even copy images to a DVD-R disk.
