What a projector! These were the words that came up most when we first viewed the JVC DLA-HD100 full-HD 1080p projector in our demo room. We tested the JVC DLA HD100 from a basic SD progressive signal right upto a full blown 1920x1080p/24 signal, and our first impressions are that the HD100 is a truly outstanding full HD projector and this years hot buy.

We were surprised at the overall consistently high quality image from the JVC and would expect to see this level of performance from projectors costing much more. On standard definition the JVC DLA HD100 offers pin-sharp clarity that can fool the keenest projector fan into thinking you are viewing full HD from SD films. The motion and colour are just fantastic, as are the black levels, thanks to the massive 30000:1 contrast ratio. The black detail is hard to rival, with shadow and dark areas remaining defined without looking washed out. Colour clarity and contrast ratio really come together to make a magical projector.

Not only does the HD100 offer a class leading image but is an easy projector to live with! Plenty of lens shift and a huge zoom makes installation a doddle, and tweaking the image couldn't be easier, although we feel you will be impressed with the image straight out of the box.
