Q Acoustics have done it again, collecting a full 5 star review from “What Hi-Fi” with their new Q Acoustics 2000 series. Q Acoustics have moved the goal posts again on budget speaker performance and quality. With all new cabinets designs, a completely new subwoofer and surprisingly big sound, the Q Acoustics 2000 5.1 home cinema packageis everything an entry level speaker package should be, and more.

The Q Acoustics 2070S subwoofer has transformed from the usual square box speaker in the corner of the room to a taller yet more slender design. The newly designed subwoofer now uses two paper/micra mix cones driver by two mono block power amplifiers each delivering 140w for added depth. The use of two drivers also creates a larger surface area than the 2070S' predecessor, the 1000Si. This helps control the bass and develop a wider frequency leading to a much more friendly and natural movie experience.

Q Acoustics 2000C centre speaker has had a completely new cabinet design which enables you to mount this centre speaker directly onto the wall without the worry of catching the binding speaker terminal posts. The speakers in the 2000 range have been tweaked to improve the overall performance, particularly the high end frequencies, leading to a cleaner and more crisp sound. The Q Acoustics speakers have always boasted plenty of rythmic bite, the 2000C is no exception. A controlled midrange makes this ideally suited for home cinema.

The Q Acoustics 2010 bookshelf speakers have had a complete rework of the cabinet design.
