As you know, subwoofers are designed to deliver those low frequency rumbles found in just about every film nowadays. The Rel T1's design further enhances these effects. The perimeter rails that define and support the T1 are necessary to provide sufficient elevation to allow proper release of the low bass pressure wave, thus resulting in better performance. The Neutrik Speakon high-level input allows for direct connection to your amplifier. All controls are located on the back panel which results in a tidier design which won't spoil the look of the room that the T1 is placed in. The Rel T1 recently received the prestigious best buy award from Home Cinema Choice magazine, quoting "The instant it played you could tell the Rel was a class act, with real control and profundity".
