Using some of the technology and design found in Tannoy's more expensive high-end speakers, the V4 are probably one of the best entry-level floorstanding speakers available.

Major re-workings and re-design of the driver technology and crossover, provide a improved sound over the previous Mercury F Range. Now with a deeper bass and marginally larger cabinets the Mercury V4 have all the traits of a class leading speaker. The slick aesthetics tone down the size making for an incredibly room friendly floorstanding speaker.

Revised cabinet bracing within the Tannoy Mercury V4 gives a stiffer structure, producing an outstanding dynamic attack. The newly designed pulp fibre cone in the bass and mid range drivers are the lightest and stiffest cones to date. The end result gives the V4 a sound with more power, authority, detail, control and clarity than ever before.

Regardless of application, whether used as a stereo speaker system or as part of a multi-channel surround sound system, the V4 speakers will certainly deliver and are ideal for any entry-level or mid-level amplifier. The Mercury range have always been easy speakers to drive, the V4 being no exception. They will effortlessly deliver the adrenaline of movies and the subtlety of high fidelity music in ample measure.
